Indian Researcher (Indian Researcher – A Bi-annual Interdisciplinary Journal), a multidisciplinary e-journal run by the Students Federation of India (SFI) calls for submission of short articles for its October- November (2024) issue on the broad theme of “Gendered Experience: Workplace, Safety, and Women in Contemporary India”.
Though not limited to the following, our intended sub-themes include:
● Legal and Juridical Framework of Workplace Safety for Women
● The intersecting axes of identity and marginality
● Wage and Salaried Inequalities in the Indian Workforce
● Everyday Voyeurism: The Male Gaze and Patriarchal Practices within Workplace
● Institutional Discrimination and Workplace Safety for Women in India
● Non-Binary Experiences of Workplace Environments
Applicants are requested to submit a short article on the aforementioned sub-themes or any related ones that resonate with the main theme. Submissions must be in MS-WORD format (graphs, figures, and tables in editable versions with source) and the word limit is up to 2000 words. An additional 200 words will be permitted for References and Bibliography (in APA format). All submissions must contain a 100 word summary or an abstract.
