About Us

The production of knowledge through research becomes meaningful only when it is socially sensitive. Challenging the entrenched hierarchies and hegemonic perceptions of the time, knowledge acquisition should involve advancing the agenda of social change. Therefore, the Indian researcher is taking up the challenging task of knowledge production and ideological struggles which are imperative for the struggles of human liberation. We believe an in-depth inquiry with the collective efforts of scholars would make it possible.

The Indian Researcher is a bi-annual research journal aiming to bring together a group of young scholars who would undertake theoretically nuanced studies by keeping the spirit of the scientific quest, the openness of mind, criticality towards received ideas, originality of thinking, and social concerns.
